My monitor isn't colour accurate/calibrated - will this be a problem?

We have a fully colour-managed workflow in the studio which means we can achieve a near perfect screen to print match - however we can’t account for your monitor at home. While we do suggest you have proper monitor calibration in place to ensure the best possible colour accuracy, we also understand that this isn’t possible for everyone.

Most people find that their prints are a little darker than they expect, because many monitors are set with a brightness setting that is much higher than the ambient light setting in the room you’re working in. Furthermore, paper is a flat medium compared to your backlit computer screen - so that may be a bit of variance if your monitor isn’t calibrated.

If you are concerned about working on a monitor that isn’t calibrated, we offer a great test printing service that is ideal for seeing exactly how your files are printing.

How did we do?

Can I send you all my files to check how large they can be printed?
